As a Meat Shop Salesperson, you will be handling valuable machinery (such as meat slicers, grinders, bandsaws, display cases, and refrigeration units) as well as perishable stock.

By signing and submitting this application, you acknowledge and agree to the following conditions regarding shop property and inventory:

1. Duty of Care: You agree to operate all tools, machines, and equipment strictly according to safety protocols and shop training.

2. Negligence or Intentional Damage: If any shop equipment, tool, or inventory is damaged, broken, or spoiled due to your gross negligence, deliberate misuse, or failure to follow established operational procedures (e.g., leaving a walk-in freezer door open, improper machine operation), you agree to be financially responsible for the repair or replacement cost.

3. Normal Wear & Tear: You will not be held responsible for equipment breakdown or inventory loss resulting from standard operational wear and tear, pre-existing mechanical failure, or power outages beyond your control.

4. Deductions: To the extent permitted by applicable labour laws, you agree that costs incurred due to negligent damage or spoilage may be deducted from your earnings or settled via an agreed-upon payment plan.
